I had been looking forward to my night out at the Fireplace but I was sorely disappointed like other reviewers. My boyfriend and I were seated promptly by our server but once we declined the wine menu, he rolled his eyes at us and all but disappeared because we were getting more food than alcohol. We ordered some raw oysters and the steak and specifically asked for the oysters first (DUH!). When both arrived together I was pretty mad especially because our server was haughty. We sent our steak back as we weren't ready for it. The oysters were great and the steak turned out to be okay and the chocolate molten cake was spectacular. But not for what we paid, the prices were out of control for only mediocre food. I don't think I will give the Fireplace a second chance or any good praise.
