I don't like giving places 1 star ratings, but I really feel after my experience last night, this is what it deserves. First of all, this bowling alley isn't a trendy, fancy bowling alley, nor is it really just OK. It's a run-of-the-mill old bowling alley with an ugly outside facade, outdated interiors, scoring electronics, and so on. Now I personally don't care that much, as long as the price reflects that. One of the arcade games ate my friend's dollar, but the punching bag thing wouldn't come down, and we didn't bother with the effort of calling an employee to retrieve it. This place allows smoking indoors too. I paid $14.20 total for two games, and a shoe rental on a Friday night. I guess that's an OK price. I wasn't handed a receipt however, though I didn't remember to request one as I had the correct change as far as I cared. 3 of my friends came along, and two of them were a couple and the guy paid for his girl. The main issue occured when we were playing our second game. In the middle of the game, we have an issue with the pins and one of us went to notify the employees. After we did that, we wait, and wait. Then one of us checks in again, and it turns that our game is over because 2 people didn't pay. The guy we paid earlier isn't there. Instead, it's an old woman who was being somewhat rude. It turns out, when the couple paid the guy, the guy mistakenly thought they wanted one game each for a total of two. I'm sure my friend said two games each for the both of them. Regardless, I find it fishy that while I paid $14 for two games and shoes, they paid about $28 bucks, which only allotted them 2 games total, and 2 shoe rentals? At twice the price? Me and my other friend (bought the same thing I did) still paid for 2 games, and our 2nd game was interrupted. We asked if me and him could still play, as long as the other couple didn't, but she flat out said ""No."" She just wouldn't do that. So basically, I paid for something, but didn't receive the full thing regardless of trying to be polite and reasonable with this lady. This bowling alley appears to be such a rip-off, the staff isn't too courteous, and they refused to give us what we did pay. I don't think I'll be visiting for a long time given other choices.
