Review content:
First let me say that it's impossible to find a GREAT Indian restaurant in Florida. Sorry folks, but you have to head up north for great Indian food - north of Washington, DC. Nevertheless, Bombay Cafe is probably the best Indian restaurant in the Palm Beach, Boca and FLL area. I work in consulting and as such get to eat out every day of the week. We have tried many Indian restaurants and most leave a lot to be desired. Bombay Cafe so far has been the best hands down. Their veggy dishes are outstanding. The Chicken Tika Masala is spotty (depends on the day) but most other dishes are great. They have a good selection of Indian beers as well. Service is a bit on the pompous side but friendly enough to tolerate. You'll know what I mean if you get the cocky strutting waiter with a shit-eating grin on his face. He walks around as if he's looking into the mirror the whole time. I'm certain he sees something we don't. Anyhow, I'm not a big fan of buffets but this is probably one of the best. One night a week they have the buffet and I think it's best to avoid it and go on a night you can order from the menu. It's really a shame they don't serve from the menu on buffet night.
Pros: Good food and nice selection of Indian beer
Cons: Pompous waiter and can't order from menu on buffet night
