Businiess name:  Dixie's On Grand

Review content:
My family and I unfortunately spent almost $100 at this ""soul, southern restaurant!"" Although the ambiance was nice and the staff were pleasant, the food was terrible! My family has southern roots so I know what southern food should taste like--and southern food should taste good. Dixie's food was honestly quite painful to eat! The soul fries were cold, the pork po'boy was dry, the pot roast on potatoes was flavorless and inedible, and the macaroni and cheese was watery and tasteless--salt and pepper will not help this food! Also, McDonald's Sweet Tea tastes better than their southern sweet tea--we should have just gone to McDdonald's for dinner--it would have been tastier and MUCH cheaper! In this economy, we don't have money to waste on bad food, but complaining to the staff would not have helped the situation--what that restaurant needs is some real chefs in the kitchen who know how to cook--they should hire my family for starters! If you want real southern food, do NOT choose this place! Avoid!
