Have been going here since the doors opened many years ago and the food has always been generally very good. Over the years, I can always tell when there has been a change in management or whoever decides what foods are served ,because some of our favorite dishes disappear. As a regular weekly diner, I know most of the table servers and they know me and my family and most are very nice and helpful. We miss Charles though. He was the best ever and hope he has moved on into management. He was great in every way.The food line does have a few problems as there are a few people who yell at everyone as if we were a child and want to rush you to choose your food. Most guests don't even have time to look over the choices without being yelled at a second or third time.I like fast service but give me a chance to look at the food. They act like the soup guy from the Sienfeld television show and I feel like if I don't hurry in making my choices they will say, "" NO FOOD FOR YOU,COME BACK IN 2 MONTHS"". Some just seem to have a bad attitude every single visit which in my case is usually twice a week. Management needs to give them an attitude adjustment. What led me to write this was what happened a few days ago and after all these years, I just don't think I can return. After being seated my husband went to the restroom to wash his hands before eating. As he was washing his hands a heavy set young man with a blue apron on and a ballcap came out of the stall, still zipping his pants up, and walked right out. Never even stopped to wash his hands. When my husband came back to the table and told me this I was so disgusted I couldn't even finish my meal. I should have gone to the manager right then but it was very busy at the time and I just wanted to leave. My son and husband have been back and said the guy still works there and always see him come out of the LOUD kitchen and he just walks around for awhile talking to other employees. Not sure what his position there is but I have visions of him being the one who just prepared my meal and I haven't been back.I guess that comes from my father being a retired City of Fort Worth health inspector. He has been gone many years but I remember the many stories he passed along to us kids about these kind of violations he had to give to so many dining places. The main one I remember him telling us was to always check out the restrooms first. If the bathrooms were dirty,so were the kitchens and get up and leave.Don't eat the food.To know that an employee of this Luby's would not wash his hands with a customer standing right in front of him just makes me sick so beware! Pros: Food and FriendlyTable Server's Cons: Loudest Kitchen In Fort Worth
