This little, out-of the-way spot (near Galbraith Road) offers surprisingly good sandwiches and dinners, especially barbequed pork and brisket. The meat is tender, juicy and smoked to please most everyone's taste. The bar-b-que sauce is delicious, not vinegary and doesn't light a fire in your stomach the way many places make it these days. Unfortunately, pickles, relish, onions, etc. are not available for the sandwiches. However, the major drawback is the indifference of the owner, Kenny Tessel, towards his customers. We were there at lunch time on July 8, 2009; there were at least five customers waiting for food; Mr. Tessel was not waiting on customers, but he was there; not once did he greet or thank a customer in the 10 minutes we were waiting; he actually seemed lost in thought or unhappy. Mr. T (and his mannequin Bar-Bee) have been in the news a lot lately; perhaps it's all gone to his head! Pros: very, very good brisket sandwiches Cons: disinterested owner
