This is a beautiful hike! ... a bit of a drive thru a semi-rough road, but well worth it. Go to Eldora (not Eudora); its named afte the ski resort nearby. Just drive west to Hessie trailhead, then bear left. After 4 miles of interesting roads, the trailhead is at the end. BEAUTIFUL scenery of a couple waterfalls accross the valley, and even a glimpse of a few ski runs in the beginning. Not a long hike, but a bit strenuous at times due to altitude. You end up above treeline. Bring your dogs, but keep em leashed; lotsa wildlife!
