If you like to laugh, go see improv at LA Connection on Saturday nights. I brought friends from San Francisco to see the 8 pm show & ended up staying for the 9 pm show as well. At 8 pm, we saw Temporary Insanity, an insanely funny troupe with high energy & quick wit. They also make great use of the musical stylings of Glenn Takakjian who plays a mean piano. The 9 o?clock show features 2001 Improv Comedy Odyssey, a solid group of seasoned improv performers who do impressions, accents & songs in delightful ways. They also make great use of the audience. Both these groups are worth seeing multiple times & I highly recommend a night out at LA Connection.
