I recently hired Sason Catering to cater my wedding and it was the biggest mistake I ever made! The food is good but working with the owner and the staff was horrible! We met with David the owner 7 months before the wedding, drafted a preliminary menu and provided a deposit. We were then supposed to work together to finalize the menu and get a final contract. After weekly calls and emails for months that he never responded to, I finally hired wedding coordinators primarily so they could handle him. Even with them working on it, he continually faxed incorrect menus, was non responsive and rude. We did not get the final menu confirmed until 1 week before the wedding...And, he came to the location and didn't even say hello or congratulations to me or my husband. He argued with the coordinators who then had to ask him to leave as he was making a scene. The worst part was his catering crew. After the ceremony they stood on the beach drinking the champagne rather than working the cocktail hour. My mother walked in on one of the staff who was in the refrigerator of the home eating the food that I brought to the location (we were staying there a week). Later in the evening we had a cupcake wedding cake with 113 cupcakes for 90 guests. Many guests didn't even get one including myself and my husband as the staff took the liberty of helping themselves - guests watched them pass 2-4 cupcakes to each of the crew. We also paid $250 for a coffee and tea service that was never even taken out of the box - the catering crew ""forgot"" to set it up. Trust me, avoid the hassle and find a different caterer for your event!
Pros: The food is great tasting
Cons: working with the owner and staff is a nightmare
