We stopped at the Honda dealership in Spokane to get an oil change for our Civic hybrid and they could not accommodate us. Mike did the oil change and recommended that we get tires as we were down to the wear bars. He recommended a tire and we purchased four. Our gasoline mileage in the hybrid immediately dropped by 15 miles a gallon. This is quite a drop and we drove home to California hoping that it would improve. It has averaged 30+ miles per gallon instead of the 40+ miles per gallon we were getting before we replaced the tires. Mike should have researched which Cooper tire would be best for the hybrid rather than just selling us his top of the line tires based on the tire size. This will end up costing us hundreds of extra gallons of gas for the life of the tires.
