My husband and I absolutely loved the first Sole Mio restaurant; we dining there on several occasions, including two anniversaries. Our experience last December, (on our anniversary)at the 3rd Avenue location, was a total disppointment. The charming ambience was gone; the lighting was too bright, tables too close together and too much noise. After 40 minutes, we had bread and water; no one had taken our drink order. We stopped, on our way out, to offer to pay for the bread and tap water. The person in charge was no apologetic and he was very sloppily dressed. I sent an e-mail to Sole Mio, expressing our disappointment and received no reply. We're sorry that our favorite restaurant exists no more. Would not recommend.
