Businiess name:  Americas Tire

Review content:
Been buying happily here for years but NEVER AGAIN! Took a flat off one of my vehicles, threw it in the back of the truck, dropped it of at America's Tire and no worries... ""We'll fix it for free"". Went back and was told that it's old, it's separated, and I need a new tire. Well it looked OK to me & I think I'd like a 2nd opinion and could you just put the tire back on the rim? Sorry sir, we can't work on what we say is a damaged tire, so if you're refusing to buy a new tire, here's your rim and tire... After much insistence that the article be returned to me in the condition that it was dropped of to them the mechanic, in the most surly of manner imaginable, put the tire on the rim but refused to put air into it in order to seal the beads to the rim. Then this $8/hour grease monkey had the gall to tell me to leave HIS shop and not let the door hit my ass as I left. I suppose he's used to everyone just taking his word that they need to spend $80 or 90 for a new tire and when a customer questions his judgment he plays the corporate, ""We're not allowed to work on unsafe tires"" sales tactic. What a crock. And I had previously thought that this was a quality shop. Well it looks like we're in greedy times these days so I'm voting with my feet. America's tire will never see one of my $'s again!
