I have to have a little chuckle at Htowngirl -- she is the precise type of customer that you NEVER see at Darkhorse Tavern, which is one reason why this place is so great. I love drinking cold beer and playing darts, and just chilling with some friends in a relaxed atmosphere, which is exactly what this place offers. I would urge the young Washington crowd to stay away from this place... this is not the place to order a flaming doctor pepper or a ""Washington Apple,"" whatever that is... But if you want to watch some TV, drink some cold beer, take a shot or two that doesn't have more than two words in its name, and play some competitive darts, this place is right up there with Rudyards.
