i had been a long time customer of scott's until i moved to new zealand a few years ago and let my hair grow SO long there because i couldn't find anyone there who could handle it in the same way scott can. i am back in LA for a week visiting friends and it was so delightful to be able to see scott and get a haircut from him again! and i had not been to lauren's before, but its a super cute salon.
i think scott is a true artist, with a passion for what he does and a genuine dedication to doing it perfectly. that makes such a difference to a person like me with insanely thick hair- i'm so used to hairdressers that see my hair as a problem and an inconvenience- scott is just the opposite and seems to really relish being able to work on hair like mine- he understands how to cut it and he makes it look amazing. he is also just a really fun, nice person. its such a pleasure to get a haircut from him. he is great!
