I received a coupon in the mail recently to get an oil change, filter, lube and tire rotation for 17.99. I made an appointment online and took my vehicle - an suv - over at the appointed time. The staff mamber at the desk was polite. I told them not to bother to rotate the tires because I was getting new ones soon. I was waiting for it so they took the keys and soon the car was in the shop. A few minutes later the car was being backed out of the bay. It seemed like it was done faster than what it should have been but the kid who did the change came in and said it was done. They honored the coupon. I got in the car and drove home and parked my car in the garage. The next morning there was a huge oil stain on the floor. I realized why it had been done so quickly. The kid hadn't bothered to remove the skid pan when he changed the oil. So a lot of the old oil ran into the skid pan and has been leaking out wherever I've parked it ever since. I can't prove it but the filter didn't look like it had been changed either.
Pros: Honored the coupon, did not try to sell me additional work
Cons: Did a sloppy job
