Review content:
After eating at Mallorca and expecting authentic, quality Spanish cuisine, I must say I was thoroughly disappointed. Personally, I've made better paella at home. I find it hard to believe that this paella is award winning because I have lived in Spain, and therefore I know what real paella actually tastes like. My paella had zero flavor, like the seafood & vegetables had been cooked separately & then thrown into a bland generic yellow rice (I'm sure the color was not from real saffron). Also, the seafood was not fresh and what was supposed to be chicken was actually pork (probably some old stuff they were trying to use up). the rice was long grain rather than short grain, the kind typically used in paella. This was paella at its absolute worst, no flavor, no thought, just executed in the cheapest and most inauthentic way possible. My advice, make your own paella, and don't waste your money.
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
