My friend and I were looking forward to a nice evening out and since I had never been to Ruth Chris'.. we decided to indulge. What a disappointing experience. The salad was good, I ordered the Fillet well done and my friend the Rib Eye medium well. Mine was delivered as rare, my friend's was tough. I sent mine back, in the mean time my friend was trying to wait, but I told him to eat, so it wouldn't get cold. I got my steak back and it was burnt on the outside and pink on the inside. It came back by the time my friend had finished. The manager came over and comped my portion of the meal, and said that the next cut would be perfect. I took it home, and when I cut through it at home, it was pink again.. I called the manager back to let him know, and he told me it was the kitchen manager's night off. Needless to say, I won't be back.. Too many other steak places in Austin that will do a good job,...
