Review content:
It is rare to hear a story about a business, that evokes a true feeling of ?love?, but that is exactly what I felt when I interviewed Phil, the owner of Beads, Crystals and More. As he shared with me the store?s fascinating history, was moving to say the least. What started off with Phil?s determination to create matching earrings to his wife?s necklace collection for her 43rd birthday has evolved into one of the greatest love stories in Encinitas. What Phil didn?t know 13 years ago as he fastidiously worked on his creations, secretly night after night while his wife slept, was that on the day before her birthday, he unknowingly had 42 sets of earrings to give to her. Knowing that he needed 43 to make the gift complete, he headed down to the local bead shop to try and find something special. This decision changed his life forever.
