I took my dog to Angel of Mercy last night because I had suspected that she had eaten rat poison and she was hemorrhaging heavily . They were short staffed but I was seen in no time at all. The tech Steven, Dr. Dale Wingfield, and the receptionist were all impeccable and caring people! After the proper blood tests were run and the vet came out to show me the results that he had printed out, he could have easily scared me (being that I have no veterinary training) into shelling out money for a blood transfusion with the platelet counts that I saw. Instead, he was assuring that although they were low they were not transfusion low. He was very thorough in explaining all the results and the care that I needed to perform for her. I am so grateful for the honest and caring staff!!! They turned a very scared woman into a relieved one and now my dog will live!
