Review content:
It seemed like the therapist was more intent on swiping our credit card than on helping us with what were some acute and serious relationship problems. In 12 sessions we received a xeroxed handout, which we could have printed out from the internet, and 2 pieces of relationship advice. We were given no guidance or strategy as to how to deal with the serious problems we were having. In fact, the therapist hardly ever said one word to us. After we verbally pummeled each other in front of him, he just sat there watching, and at the end of the session said, "So, see you next week?" After a dozen sessions we were done, and have moved on to a more proactive therapist. If you just need for someone to listen to your problems, please rely on your friends and family for free; do not pay this guy for that. Pros: evening availability Cons: unhelpful
