Well this is the first time I have wrote my own review. I felt that Kruger's Downtown Austin definitely deserved their great reputation. I came to citysearch and read reviews before I chose to take my antique heirloom diamond wedding ring anywhere. I have always heard great things about Kruger's but I was very weary of who would be getting a hold of such a priceless piece of family history. My ring was in worse shape then I thought originally I thought I needed it sized up and to fix one of the place setting prongs. Well I was wrong, the prongs were all mostly gone and needed repair. They were very open and honest with me about the next step and showed me the problem areas. The lovely sales lady was worried that I may of needed a completely new setting because it was such an antique that they did not have my style anymore. I was worried about changing my ring and losing its original charm. She proceeded to take the ring back to their jeweler and get his opinion, he came to the conclusion that he would and could restore it to its original state. I was very pleased. His work is fabulous and quick. I had my precious ring back in a week more beautiful than ever. Thanks so much Kruger's! I will always use you for my jeweler needs.
