Review content:
The quality of the food and the portions are second to none, the service and atmosphere are way above what you would expect from a restaurant in this price category. Even the appetizers are huge. Everything in this restaurant is made fresh daily, even the Italian bread. I asked for Gnocci, a dumpling popular in southern Italian cooking, even though this was not a menu item, and he told me that this would be no problem (Very impressive). The gnocci was fabulous. Also, all the meals include a fresh made soup, salad, fresh baked Italian bread, (served with olive oil and pecorino cheese), and the meat entrees also include a side of pasta. For an average menu price about $15.00 this is an unbelievable value. Other notable items are the steaks. Their deserts are to die for. Kudos Cafe Italia, you have won a place in my heart.
