Review content:
I had heard much ado about Scandals as one of the premiere salons in the area, so when my assignment from my editor was to write a review, I was needless to say, excited....and then disappointed. It was not so much the services as the attitudes. Evidently they are aware of their reputation...and it has gone to their heads. So not to duplicate my article in full, I will keep this brief. My haircut was acceptable, my color was ok (although it is fading much quicker than I am used to, I believe they use a very popular and common American brand, as opposed to the far superior Italian which I am used to) and I had an above average massage. I simply sensed so much elitism and arrogance in the air from the time I arrived up until when I left and they tried to initiate an utterly ridiculous policy of scheduling a series of appointments for me over the course of several months. I was insulted by the assumption that they had been so fantastic that I would need to plan my year around them. I will leave you with this "at least my magazine footed the bill."
