my cleaning was fine. the hygenist is lovely and always does a great job. however, she noticed something on my tongue that concered her. she called the dentist in and he said that it should be looked at by the oral surgeon. so i set up an appointment. your oral surgeon is filled up for the next time he is in the office so i made an appointment for a month from now. actually more than a month from now. i am not an alarmist. but when you put a scare in a patient i think you should try to accomidate them as soon as possible. i made the appointment, but if i find someone to see me sooner i will cancel it. i am a widow. if i have tongue cancer i want to know before a month from now. for my children. the hygienist was wonderful and tried to get me in sooner, but the surgeon was "over-booked".
