I found Maksim Spa and came to Lena with a severe adult acne problem two years ago. I never had acne as a teenager and my acne problem started as I was living in Europe, and there I went through a battery of antibiotics and treatments that have done more damage than good. I was determined to change things around once I get back stateside.
Lena has been with me since the beginning and had patiently and painstakingly did my facials and extractions where we started off with weekly treatments at the height of my skin problem. She had also advised me with at-home skincare from the products they carry which I used and followed religiously. She had asked me to modify my diet as well, which perhaps, may have had contributed to my breakouts.
There were times in the early months that Lena and I had our doubts about my progress but I trusted her. I feared for the worst, the constant painful cystic breakouts and, thereafter, the scarring. But Lena assured me, spent time with me, and was very thorough in my treatments that things will be better and that my face will look beautiful again. We both did not give up.
Now two years later I'm acne free with only occasional breakouts and most importantly no scarring. I owe a lot to Lena for her personalized approach to her quality treatments and as well as her perseverance and patience with me.
I definitely recommend Maksim Spa for its boutique style spa treatments, excellent and friendly customer service from Olya and the gals behind the desk, and they stand behind the products they carry and recommend.
