Review content:
I first of all love the spa services. My problem lies with the lack of professionalism and ability of the hairstylists. I have used this spa for over a year and decided I want a different than usual cut for my hair. After 2 attempts with one stylist I asked the owner if they recommended another stylist rather than going to another salon. So they did. When I arrived to that appointment I was attacked and out of desperation to have my hair fixed felt stuck and let the stylist cut my hair. The whole time she was rude and had a nasty look on her face and I was just in shock. I called my old stylist who is an hour away, the stylist that I consulted on what to ask for for the last 3 hair cuts so they would understand what I wanted and she was in shock. The stylist textured my hair with an 10+ yr old method of special scissors, that is not the proper way to do it. I wanted layers and height on the top and it was left 9 inches long and she told me to use more product. It was horrible and I ended up having to drive over an hour to have it fixed. The title of salon is great for the salon services but not for their hairdressing services. I emailed the owners and asked them to take me off their mailing list and wished them the best. They were so concerned about losing a regular customer who did the right thing when they were unhappy with a service that they removed me from the list and replied with we wish you the best. That is not the way to conduct business. To be honest after receiving the wish you the best email I think that they must have set me up to be treated badly and the stylist that I ended up driving to see said that no one would leave the top of someones hair 9 inches long when they were asking for layers and height and yet cut the back so short. I mistakenly allowed this stylist to touch me and paid for the service and out of habit left a tip. If you have a hairstyle more complicated than a bob or one that has been around for 10 yrs stay away!
