If you haven't been on the Lady of the Lake Mail Boat run in Lake Chelan, then your missing out on one of Washington's great treasures and using this company is the best way to see the area. Everything was done per the itinerary and operated just like clockwork. We stoped in the historical village of Roslyn (once the filming location of Northern Exposure) and a local guide took us on a walking tour. Discovery Tours arranged an amazing lunch at Suncadia Resort where the views took your breath away and the food was top notch. We took the mail run up the lake through deep gorges, the scenery was amazing and the colors of the lake deep jewel colors. They arranged a private tour that included Rainbow Falls and hot lunch for us on arrival. Our hotel overlooked the lake. It was very peaceful and relaxing. On our return home they surprised us with ice cream and hot apple pie at a local farm. We met the family and learned about running an orchard. We have done many tours with this company and you can trust that you will be getting more then you pay for everytime. My favorite part is they have a lovely balance of free time so you do not feel like school children on a field trip. Their staff is very friendly, working hard to be sure everyone mixes and mingles. More then I have seen on any other company I have traveled with. If you haven't been to this area of Washington make it part of your bucket list.
