Review content:
I'm compelled to write a review to say, be careful of the wine expert's recommendations. I went with a group of friends and we were looking at wines in the $50-70 range. The wine expert (I think his name is Ryan and I don't think he's a real sommelier) recommended another wine. Usually when a Sommelier recommends a wine, it is in the same price range... or he'll point out that the wine he's recommending is higher price point than what is being considered. This guy did neither and recommended a $130 bottle of wine. I didn't feel comfortable getting into it with him... but who does that? Restaurants that don't want repeat business that's who. The food wasn't all that great either. Small portions that cost a lot. Just be careful if you're planning an evening at Vinoteque. Pros: Nice flavors Cons: Expensive & misleading...
