Review content:
This is my first time writing a bad review a business. Att first I was impressed with how the owners took the time to get my new puppy acquainted with the noise of the shop before they actually groomed her. However, after picking up my dog from her 3rd hair cut I was amazed that they cut her hair so short after Valarie had spent ten minutes asking me exactly what I wanted done. When I told this to the person who cut her hair she explained that Valerie hadn’t told her anything and there was nothing written on the card, something she said Valerie did all the time. I told her I was disappointed since my dog now looks like a squirrel and my kids were going to freak out. But I paid her in full even gave her a 15% tip saying I knew it wasn’t her fault. Being in the field of continuous improvement, I told her that maybe they should get bigger cards so notes could be added. Since they groom so many dogs I mentioned that what would really make their job easier would be to add a picture of the dog to the card after they were groomed. This would eliminate any questions for them or the customer. The next day I received a voice mail from Valarie the owner, of Planet Doggywood. Expecting an apology for the misunderstanding, instead I got a nasty message saying that” I was never to call back or come to the shop again. They didn’t tolerate crabby customers”. Well in shock, I couldn’t believe the message I received. Wow, this is from a business owner? This is customer service? I called back and too my surprise they didn’t answer the phone. I called several more time and finally got the answering machine. I politely ask for Valarie to call me back and of course no return call. Well several of my neighbors go there also, so I have spoken to them regarding how I was treated. They couldn’t believe it either. Valarie you should have at least heard my side of the story before you listened to you worker who bashed you the whole time to me on how you never give any of them the correct information.
