ACA’s educational approach is specifically classical where the best of Western civilization is systematically taught– literature, scholarship, art. We use time-tested and orderly methods that “train up” the child to be successful, thinking, curious Christians in an ever-changing world. Through the study of Latin our students learn to approach English in the way it was taught for centuries, a method that develops verbal capacities and encourages sound study habits. We teach Latin in an incremental fashion using a system that allows the student to learn it with ease. Our math is taught to the point of mastery with careful attention to each student’s progress. Since we believe beautiful things should be taken “to heart” students of all ages memorize Bible passages, classic poems and historical speeches. This transmits important aspects of our cultural heritage and refines language skills. Our curriculum includes the study of Logic for three years, and in depth, rich exposure to history — as opposed to social studies — from the earliest grades. ACA has chosen Christ-centered teachers who care about the child’s soul, as well as his mind. We encourage students to live their faith day by day. As our students grow into young men and women, we want them to be part of the lively conversation about what is good, true, and beautiful and to see God’s hand behind it. Come see our family school you for yourself. Call or email us for a personal tour. Information.aca@gmail.com
