Austin has great food, but without a doubt, El Greco is on the top of the list. Authentic Greek cuisine and atmosphere while the Owner/Chef is preparing your meal. It was nice to actually see the owner/chef preparing your actual meal and with such family tradition. A real family atmosphere and inviting, we are already planing to come back with friends. Of course, I had to try the souvlaki platter and it was terrific, my wife had the vegan eggplant and a meat lover like myself even enjoyed it. We did start off with the Hummus, Tabouli and Tamara (El Greco TRIO) appetizer, all I have to say is "Home Made". Between the appetizer and main course, we were stuffed, the portions are big but we made room for desert, we shared the Baklava and it was just perfect and again, "Home Made". After we arrived, it started to get busy, but the service was still top notch and Chef Jake and his family made sure everyone was satisfied. You can see they treat their staff well, as it got busy, they worked hard and supprisingly flawless. We are so excited to have found this place, can't wait to go back, compliments to Chef Jake. I also recommend trying the Greek beers to keep the entire experience authentic, we had Marathon. Pros: Food, food, authentic Greek cuisine, atmosphere, service and family run restaurant Cons: I'm too satisfied to list Cons
