I have to say, this may be one of the finest dining experiences ever. I'd been to the Ruth's Chris in New Orleans some years ago, and have had my fair share of fine steaks in my day, but what made an impression on me, almost more than the food, was the service. What a difference good service makes! I may not even need to mention the food--it's incredible. The gumbo was delicious, the salads crispy and tasty, the bread hot and soft, the lobster succulent, and the beef--oh, the filet mignon!! But you already know the food is exceptional--let me get back to the service. Our waiter, and the entire staff, had us completely satisfied. His drink selections were right on, and he was able to perfectly balance catering to our occasional neediness, and not being overzealous with his presence. Absolutely wonderful dining experience!!
