Businiess name:  Au Lac Vegetarian Restaurant
Review by:  Lidia C.
Review content:
Au Lac has been a longtime favorite of ours. Good for veggies and non-veggies alike. The first time we went there we had a clay pot dish and it was pretty mediocre. What they really shine at are the fake meats, so I recommend those. We like the vermicelli dishes, the spring rolls, the beef with watercress and chicken with vegetables. The servers are really nice. And I believe one of the chefs has taken a vow of silence, so he's this incredible smiley man who i think creates a lot of the raw dishes. I have tried the raw desserts, which are awesome. But the raw dishes are pretty expensive. I think it would be a fun treat for something special. Otherwise I stick to the cooked stuff that is cheaper. They are closed on Mondays except for certain Buddhist holidays. And if you are vegetarian and miss wonton soup...this is the place. Even if you are not vegetarian, this is my favorite wonton soup of all time.
