Boy oh boy, it never dawned on me until the other night, how long West Music has actually been around when a friend mentioned he was taking his old High School instrument in to be overhauled at West music for his GRANDSON to play! Man, that got me thinking! I, like most parents in the area have been a customer of West music for years now. In my son's school they begin playing "the recorder" when they are in 3rd grade, then it is off to string instruments in 5th and band in 6th. Well, we went through the gamut like everyone else but despite the wonderful overhaul hubbys old horn went through...my eldest just wasn't the musician he wished he could be! I have always been impressed with WEST MUSIC. They are located on 5th street just down the street from the new center of town with all the great shops and beautiful building and such. WEST MUSIC has been a note above all others for years and their great customer service and personal touch as well as their unending knowledge about music of all types has kept them as a fixture of many households for literally generations! They even offer private lessons and small group lessons as well. I know some adults who had the urge to begin piano again and met once a week in group sessions to re-learn those old cords and fingerings. Some of them didn't do any better than the first go around but they did have a whole lot of fun! So if you need any type of music help what so ever....consider your options....call and stop on by..... and visit WEST MUSIC....a part of the past and leaders of our musical future!
