The Soho outpost is the one I visited when I found out that I needed glasses (so sad, getting older).
I was fortunate enough to visit during one of their sales (at least twice a year). So I paid for one pair and got the second pair at half off.
I have to say that never having worn glasses before, I was anxious to get a really cool pair that looked good on me. After trying on dozens of Gucci at another store, I opted for a pair from Morgenthal Frederics. They hand-make most of their frames in Italy.
They also sell sunglasses too and different brands besides their own.
Needless to say, the pair I got were fabulous (still are). And they're the sexy librarian kind so I get tons of compliments on them all the time.
All in all, it was worth the ritzy price to look good.
