Businiess name:  Porky's Pizza Palace
Review by:  Elaine M.
Review content:
I'm usually the one arguing to go to a "nice" restaurant while my husband and his boys want to go to a hamburger dump or pizza joint. Porky's is a destination we agree on. It's definitely not fancy, but it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is - which is lots of fun. You order at a counter and find a seat. If you're lucky you'll catch a booth, otherwise the seating is at long tables shared with other patrons. The lighting is slightly atmospheric in the front of the restaurant, but fluorescently bright in the rear, where you find the long tables, pinball games, and sports on a big TV. Listen for your name to be called as your order is prepared, and retrieve your food from the front counter. There is a separate bar for ordering drinks, and beer prices are quite reasonable. Food prices are reasonable, too, and the pizza and pasta were very good. I love their fried zucchini appetizer, and can't wait to try their chicken and sandwiches which are also supposed to be good.
