Businiess name:  Betty's Fine Food & Spirits
Review by:  maggie c.
Review content:
Betty's has a wide selection of thrilling beers with artistic labels, and they give you good food and lots of it. I like their salmon nicoise salad, except that I can never remember how to pronounce "nicoise," so I never order it. There's also a dish with pasta and artichoke that I had last time and it was really good, but I can't remember what they called it at all...anyway there is usually a special of some kind, and then you can always say, "I want the special." It's a nice atmosphere, crowded, but pleasantly so. The chairs are a little high and I have to swing my feet a lot but it helps to keep you from feeling too clausterphobic. It's fairly inexpensive and you feel like you Went Out To Dinner, in a youthful loosening-the-tie way... the pin-ups keep it all classy low-brow, if that's possible.
