I tried Bangkok Star on a whim one day and was pleasantly surprise at how good the food was. It was plentiful, too, for the price that was charged. The server was quite perky and helpful at recommending the unusual dishes, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was somewhat claustrophobic and stifling (not a bit of natural sunlight, and some weird noisy automatic sliding doors). I went back another time for takeout, and again found the food hot, plentiful, and delicious. So if you give them a try, do yourself a favor and call ahead for carry out.
