This Safeway grocery store is rather new. It is about 1 year old now. It is in a great location, just south of I-10 on Estrella Parkway. The store itself is very large. The produce selection is awesome. Everything is very fresh. The meat selection is awesome as well. They have a big organic section in the store which is nice as well. They have cute grocery carts for kids that are like a truck. The kids can get into the truck and pretend to drive around while the parent puts his/her food into the basket. It's very cute! They also have a Starbucks bar in here. Nice to have a cup of coffee while grocery shopping. Checkout lines move quickly, and they have good customer service. If they don't have an advertised item in stock, they will offer you a rain check to use in the future.
