La Cena is easily my favorite restaurant in Jacksonville. My wife and I truely look forward to every visit. We are self proclaimed foodies and spend a part of every summer in cooking schools in Italy. The food quality and the originality of the preparation is eqaul to anything we have experienced in Italy. Just like the Italians, Chef Gerald only serves what he can get fresh, and the tastes of the ingrediates really come through in the ffod. The wine list is extensive and is dedicated to Italian wines. If you have the budget a special old wine list also exists. Go to La Cena to enjoy italian food and wine and at its best.
