First of all I want to thank our clients who have posted reviews of our business and for Judy's book for allowing this to happen. Lately we have received quite a few new customers who said they found us on the Judy's book site.
In October we will celebrate our 26th Anniversary. I would like to thank all of the men and women who have become our loyal customers during those many years and have made it possible for us to stay in business for such a long time. I also want to thank all stylists, present and past, for helping to make Benno of Germany a successful Salon.
I have seen many salons come and go during this time and I think it is no accident that our doors are still open. I have always stressed customer service and continued education to all of my employees. We charge more than many salons but less than some of the better known ones. Some salons spend a lot of money on advertising and to portray and image. Our advertising has mostly been by word of mouth and we greatly appreciate our customers who feel satisfied enough with our services and share their experiences at Benno of Germany with their families, friends and co-workers. We have a system in place to reward our customers for spreading the word. Your services could be almost free for referring enough people to us.
Right now we have 5 stylists/colorists working at our Salon. Marco, who also manages the salon, has been at Benno of Germany for over 13 years. Tresha has been here almost as long. The newer stylists are Lynette, Shanni, and Sarah, all three have gone through an apprentice training period with Marco and have attended extensive training courses for color with Goldwell and for make-up with Sebastian and their Trucco Line.
We carry full lines of KMS, Goldwell and Trucco products. I was instrumental in bringing Goldwell, the German Color Line, to Tacoma and the surrounding area over 20some years ago and have had continued education for my stylist from them ever since. My employees are well trained and can pretty much solve any color problem or will be honest enough to let you know if there is no way to fix it in one application and that it might take several applications or even visits to get you look your best again without ruining your hair.

Our salon is easy to find and is located on Union Ave between Highway 16 and Center Street on the corner of 31st Street in Tacoma. There is plenty of free parking.
We might not be the most 'glitzy' place in town, but you can trust that you will receive the best service possible and have fun while spending your precious time with us.
