This is a really nice place. Not too bad to chill and play some pool. It's drinks are pretty less expensive compared to the bars down town Charleston. The atmosphere is more of an calm collective crowd. Not necessarily a meat market, but where a lot of older folks are hanging out. There are drag shows, and bands playing every now and then again. Whether your straight, gay, bisexual, transgendered, trans-sexual or whatever you color or gender....this place is still a cool place to meet all kinds of people and maybe even make new friends. I recommend it.
