I recently purchased a used car and went to Northern Car Wash and paid $130 to detail my vehicle. I left the car and was told it would be ready in 2 hours - I arrived after 4 hours and my car was not ready. My friend and I started to look over the car and found that the interior was still dirty they had simply splashed the interior with an incredible amount of armor all but didn't bother removing the dirt. Everything was fine while my male friend was there with me but as soon as he left - all bets were off. These men felt they could bully me into leaving with my car still flithy. One of the "gentlemen" (JOSE) there told me that I would never get the car 100% clean to which I replied I understand but I asked him to look while I wiped the dash with my index finger and showed him my black finger tip. He turned his back on me and say oh, lady go deal with the person you left the car with. I was there an additional hour. So frustrated I was that I asked for a clean towel and started helping the ONE individual they left finishing my car - I asked for a clean towel to I could show he absentee owner afterwards. Needless to say the towel was covered completely in dirt. These people were rude and acted as they were doing me a favor and not getting paid to detail my vehicle. My window were in the inside were covered with whatever spray they used on dashboard. The dash board was not cleaned where it meets the windshield. Dirty workers' fingerprints were left on my dashboard. None of the window were pulled down so there is line around the top of the windows. They left tar on the car which had to be manually removed afterwards. I asked that this plastic be removed from the rear passenger window - it is still there. My car was the first one there that afternoon but when I went to pick it up there were 3 additional vehicles there - I believed they rushed my car out to accomodate the other - my rugs were soaking wet - they had to have removed the vacuums prematurely then ran the heat for such a length of time that they burned two gallons of gas! The interior was cleaned to the level of a regular wash. I was completely robbed. They offered me a "4 star car wash" - I laughed and asked if they questioned my sanity because only a lunatic would return for that kind of abuse! Take my word on this - so not worth the frustration!
