We recently stopped at the Royal Gorge on our vacation to Colorado. The scenery will take your breath away and so will the price of admission. It was $21 per person, and with the four of us, this certainly took a big bite of our vacation stash.
There are a lot of places to visit in Colorado, such as Mesa Verde National Park, Four Corners, Aztec Ruins, Crested Butte and the Monarch Pass. None came close to the cost of the Royal Gorge.
Colorado is a beautiful state and I encourage everyone to visit at some time. As for the Royal Gorge, just drive on by.
