I went here for a friend's wedding. I was so amazed at this place. It's located in a strip mall, so it doesn't look like anything glamorous. But on the inside, it is a very pretty and nicely kept banquet room. They have these pretty lights hanging from the ceiling and a beautiful stage. Their food here is excellent and tastes very authentic. I think the best thing I had here was this grilled, spicy chicken that was served with this spiced up yougurt! YUM!

Family Dollar Store is probably one of the best kept dollar stores in all of Chicago. It is a great place to go if you want to stock up on cleaning items, because they carry so many different things...
Family Dollar Store is probably one of the best kept dollar stores in all of Chicago. It is a great place to go if you want to stock up on cleaning items, because they carry so many different things and everything is one dollar. They even have things like hair brushes and mirrors. Basically, they have a lot of things here that you can put to good use everyday and you won't have to pay too much for them. I like the selection here and the way things are kept neat and clean.

I have been to this convention center many times for a variety of different things. But no matter what I've been here for, there have been two things that I have hated. (1) Finding my way through that maze of a convention center and (2) Finding my car in that HUGE parking lot. If it were'nt for those two issues, I would give this place five stars because it really is a nice facility with great rooms and ammenities for all sorts of purposes. Maybe a map would help...??

A non-profit organization that I volunteer for actually held a fund raiser at this convention center. While the actual convention center is massive, we only rented out one portion. It was a banquet...
A non-profit organization that I volunteer for actually held a fund raiser at this convention center. While the actual convention center is massive, we only rented out one portion. It was a banquet room and it was beautiful! The arrangements were done really nicely and they had a great speaker system set up for the auctions, speeches, awards, etc. The setup of the food and the display were very nice, although I didn't care too much for the food. They had tons of parking too and there were plenty of securit people walking around, making me feel super safe. Another good thing is that this place is very close to O'hare airport and so it is convenient for people flying in.

Eh, this is just another sandwich shop. Nothing to go crazy over, in my opinion. The sandwiches here aim to be more "gourmet" than your typical Quizno's or Subway sandwich. So you'll find a few more...
Eh, this is just another sandwich shop. Nothing to go crazy over, in my opinion. The sandwiches here aim to be more "gourmet" than your typical Quizno's or Subway sandwich. So you'll find a few more exotic sort of ingredients in your sandwich. But I just find that these sorts of exotic items are sort of overkill. For instance, I had their veggie sub, but it was filled with these weird bean sprouts that totally added a bad flavor. I think I'll pass on the gourmet please!

They have cakes, brownies, candies, chocolate covered fruits, chocolate drinks, and lots more! It is the perfect stop for a dessert fix. They have a cute little sitting area where you can order your stuff and enjoy it hot and fresh. Or you can even pick up and take home their goodies.

Steak and Shake is my favorite place to go when I am craving a nice milkshake. They have a whole line of different flavors and they are all amazing. I had a strawberry cheesecake shake that is amazing. I think it tastes just like strawberry cheesecake! They also have mint chocolate chip and chocolate which are tow more of my favorites. They have other great items here too but the shakes are what make me the happiest and bring me here again and again! The drive thru is heavan for me cuz I can pick it up for my commute!

I've gotten a few really cute tops from here but my most favorite item of all time from here is a beaded handbag I got from their basement area. They have some really cute handbags and sandals in that section and I love to check those out the most!

Dot's is a place you go if you want to throw your money away on cheap clothing. There's stuff at this place that will only cost you like six or seven dollars, but it might not even make it thruogh one wearing. Their clothing is really prone to tears, shrinking, and rips. I would not recommend buying clothes from here because they will not last you long. You might as well put in a few more dollars and buy something that will last you a bit longer. But their stuff is cute and trendy, so you have to give them that!

This has always been my family's number one stop for groceries. The store is huge. I feel like I have just walked into a warehouse. It is filled with tons of items. They have fresh produce, a deli, a bakery, a butcher, and even a pharmacy. You can seriously get it all done in this one huge store. Everything is really well organized and I never have a problem finding anything I need in this store, even some hard to find ethnic items. Their pricing is amazing too. Everything is really reasonable and they sell a lot of things in bulk quantities so its great for those of you with big families like ours!
