When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and felt very welcomed. I was seated and at a nice booth with a selection of little goodies. Peanuts in a bucket along with a empty one for the shells. I also had some very beautiful rolls that were nice and warm with some honey, cinnamon butter. Different, and a nice touch. My server Lisa, was very nice. I unrolled my nice cloth napkin to find my silverware. two forks and a knife. Glad they had two forks, because one had dried white paper on it. I kept it simple and had a cheese burger and steak fries. Both were over salted. I ordered a medium burger and it was a little over done and dry. The one thing that really got to me was all the salt on my food. Someone really needs to take the salt shaker away from the cooks. I don't recommend this place to anyone on a low salt diet or even a medium salt diet! I couldn't finish my burger or the steak fries, because of all the salt. The ketchup and steak sauce must have been pretty good, because they were almost empty. I also ordered a meal for my husband. The combo, ribs and BBQ chicken. I took a little nibble of both and pretty good. The BBQ sauce had a nice flavor. I ordered a side of green beans and, again way to much salt. (I know there was bacon and onion in there, but the salt over took it). My server, Lisa was nice enough to send me with some of the tasty rolls they make so well, and their special butter. (saving that for my Sunday toast). The prices were pretty reasonable and the atmosphere was very nice with all the wood around. more
