The Uptown Theater has been around in South Utica for god knows how long. I used to see movies there when I was a kid. They used to offer a two dollar Tuesday special, which I think is now three dollars. I think its great that they are still in business and available to show movies at a cheaper cost than the big cinemas. It is nice to see that a small local business can hold their own against some of the larger chains. Over the years they have renovated some of the theaters, if you are ever in the mood for a cheap flick stop by and check it out.
