This interesting museum of contemporary art is located in the historic Mexican War Streets on Pittsburgh's North Side. It showcases installations (room-sized works) by many world renowned artists. there are some permanent exhibitions as well as those that come and go.
Each exhibit has some interesting activities that go along with it, so it makes looking at the works much more interesting and educational.
Kids under 6 are admitted free, but tickets for adults is $9. I'm not a fan of contemporary art, so I thought the admission fee was not worth it, but my kids did enjoy the ARTLab art activities.
