JAS Mart is good (I find the one on 23rd off Madison has the best selection for cooks), but I much prefer Sunshine Mart on 9th Street off third (it's on the second floor) both in terms of prices and selection. Still, if you enjoy cooking Japanese food, or are just amused by mystery food in elaborate packaging, it's always worth a stop in JAS Mart if only for the huge selection of Pocky.
