Gates is a great, no-frills BBQ joint in KC. If you're looking for ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and all the standard sides, you've found it. If you're looking for the best that KC has to offer, I'd suggest Fiorella's Jack Stack BBQ, but it's definitely more upscale. For quality, reasonably-priced BBQ, give Gates a try.
